It’s cheesy, but it’s true.
Clout Media is, was, and always will be one of my proudest achievements – and it allows me to share my passion for video production with the masses.
Here’s a brief insight into where the company came from, what it brings to the table, and how it’s going to evolve.

Where It All Began
I’d been doing videos with The Scout Association for many years, helping them create adverts for one of the major camps in Essex: MAD Weekend. It was my way of giving back to the movement after many years of meeting great friends and making amazing memories. I didn’t realise it at the time, but this was my first foray into the world of video marketing.
I had been running a side-hustle MLM business alongside my day job for three years, and to be frank, the grind was getting to me. I was looking for ways to speed up the recruiting cycle process and I (re)discovered the concept of video marketing as a means of getting my message out there. It was quicker and more efficient than phone calls, emails, and endless coffee shop meetings. And it helped me pique their interest before booking them in for an appointment.
Struck by the benefits of corporate video, I found I was becoming more excited about this emerging marketing channel than I was about my other venture. So, as much as I was grateful for everything I’d learned during my time with the business (and the incredible contacts I’d made), I decided it was time to park that chapter of my life and give ‘Luke’s Video Marketing Company’ a go. (Naff name, wasn’t it? I dropped it pretty quickly!)
Twelve months later, part-time turned into full-time, and I dropped my 13 year career in IT support to try my hand at a business that was flexible enough to allow me to watch my young family grow up, and support my wife Julia with her own ambitions.
